PENSION ADMINISTRATOR


Pension Administrator

If you are a dedicated, innovative and adaptive individual with an educational background in a Pension Administration related field and have a desire to be a part of a team that strives to provide “Service Beyond Expectations” through the provision of personal, timely and accurate service then please consider joining our team.  

Job Summary 

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full time position as a Pension Administrator.  The candidate will be responsible for all facets of Pension Administration including processing retirement/termination applications, record maintenance and primary contact for all pension related member inquiries including correspondence and individual consultations for defined contribution and defined benefit pension plans. 

Core Qualifications 

The candidate is required to have a post-secondary degree in a related field, such as Commerce, Business Administration or a Major in Actuarial Math, etc. 

The Pension Administrator must possess:

  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard office administration procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of pension related terminology.
  • The ability to extract and interpret or simplify information from various technical sources.
  • Excellent grammatical, spelling, and communication skills.
  • Superior data entry skills, as well as strong mathematical and reconciliation skills.
  • The ability to maintain good public relations, both within and outside the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • The ability to adhere to existing company policies and procedures.
  • The ability to use tact and discretion to maintain information in the strictest of confidence.
