Preferred provider network

Coughlin operates a preferred provider network of 568 pharmacies throughout Ontario. 

PPN member pharmacies limit dispensing fees to the Ontario Drug Benefit plan maximum and limit mark-ups on certain drugs, thereby reducing drug costs for employees and plan sponsors.

For participating plan sponsors, the Coughlin PPN can reduce drug claims by an average of approximately $3.50 or more per prescription.  For most clients, that means real cost savings, often amounting to three to five per cent of annual drug plan expenditures.
