Coughlin & Associates Ltd. can process dental claims using our electronic data interchange (EDI) claims processing service.  With EDI, employee dental claims can be sent directly from their dental office to our claims department for adjudication.

To take advantage of this service, just tell your dentist that Coughlin & Associates Ltd. is your claims administrator and present him/her with the following security codes:

• the Coughlin & Associates Ltd. carrier identification number (also known as the BIN number), which is 610105 on the Emergis network;
• your unique employee identification number; and
• your group benefit plan number.

Check your human resources department for your employee and group benefit plan numbers.

Not all dental offices have EDI.  So, ask your dentist or his/her office administrator about EDI before attempting to send your claim electronically.  You can continue to send your dental claims to Coughlin & Associates Ltd. at:
