CLIENT ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full time position as a Client Accounting Administrator.  The candidate will be responsible for data entry and maintenance of benefits database, payables, receivables, account reconciliations and monthly financial reporting and is the primary contact for benefits administration inquiries and correspondence with clients.

Core Qualifications

The candidate is required to have a minimum of two years of post-secondary education in Accounting or Business Administration.  A combination of relevant education and 1-2 years related experience is required. 

Key attributes, skills and experience required for this role include the following:

  • Strong mathematical and grammatical abilities, accuracy and attention to detail and be skillful in the use of Excel as well as the adaptability to learn all in-house systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and have the ability to maintain good public relations, both within and outside the organization. 
  • Must be a team player willing to work alongside others, providing support and willing to leverage the expertise of colleagues, in addition to being able to work independently. The candidate must be willing to present creative ideas and contribute to an environment that fosters growth, development and innovation.

OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full time position as an Operations Assistant. The candidate will provide various office support services in the areas of the company mailroom, reception, scanning, and data entry. Duties are performed in such a way as to enable the smooth coordination of the mailroom area and reception area while ensuring that the professional image of the company is maintained.

Core Qualifications

The candidate is required to have a high school diploma and a minimum of one year of related office experience is preferred. Post-secondary courses in Office Administration would be considered an asset.

Key attributes, skills and experience required for this role include the following:

  • Be multi-task oriented and have demonstrated experience using an office telephone switchboard.  Previous experience with mailing equipment would be an asset as well as experience and knowledge of Canada Post and courier products and services.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and have the ability to maintain good public relations, both within and outside the organization, and must have the ability to communicate effectively.

SENIOR PENSION ANALYST

If you are a dedicated, innovative and adaptive individual with an extensive background in Pension Administration and a desire to be a part of a team that strives to provide “Service Beyond Expectations” through the provision of personal, timely, and accurate service then please consider joining our team. 

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full time position as a Senior Pension Analyst. The candidate will be responsible for all facets of Pension Administration including processing retirement/termination applications, record maintenance and primary contact for all pension related member inquiries including correspondence and individual consultations for defined benefit pension plans.

Core Qualifications

The candidate is required to hacve a post-seconday degree in a related field. A combination of required education and a minimum of five years' experience in the administration of defined benefit pension plans is preferred. CEBS training and certification is considered an asset. Bilingualism in both official languages would be considered an asset.

Key attributes, skills and experience required for this role include the following:

  • Strong mathematical, grammatical and spelling abilities and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite as well as the adaptability to learn all in-house systems.
  • Strong knowledge in the concept of Registered Pension Plan (RPP) administration for defined benefit plans.  An understanding of pension plan legislation and procedures is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and have the ability to maintain good public relations, both within and outside the organization.
  • Must be a team player willing to work alongside others, providing support and willing to leverage the expertise of colleagues, in addition to being able to work independently.
