 Operations Assistant – Winnipeg location

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full time position as an Operations Assistant.  The candidate will provide various office support services in the areas of the company mailroom, reception, scanning and data entry.  Duties are performed in such a way as to ensure the smooth coordination of the mailroom area and reception area while ensuring that the professional image of the company is maintained.  

Core Qualifications

The candidate is required to have a high school diploma and a minimum of one year related office experience is preferred.  Post-secondary courses in Office Administration would be an asset.

Key attributes, skills and experience required for this role include the following:

  • be multi-task oriented and have demonstrated experience using an office telephone switchboard.  Previous experience with mailing equipment would be an asset as well as experience and knowledge of Canada Post and courier products and services.
  • have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and have the ability to maintain good public relations, both within and outside the organization and must have the ability to communicate effectively.
  • possess superior time management skills and be a strong team player. Experience with data entry and records management will be considered an asset.
